Non custodial father's rights?

I need some help. I am a divorcied father of two living in Indiana. I was in the process of filing for some itance to help me get back on my feet and they need my childrens social security numbers. I dont have them so I called my ex and she is refeusing to give me them. Can she do that? Isn't my right as there father to have them?
