Confused..dont know what happened!?

A friend from work wanted me to get to know her bro so she gave him my number. We would text all the time but never met in person and things didn't really end up going anywhere and we eventually stopped texting each other. We both started talking to other people but things went terribly wrong for the both of us (i knew this cause his sis would tell me) we were in the same situation...the people we were talking to were hung up on their ex's. Anyways after over 6 months i went online to this dating site and what do you know he was the first one to message me so we began talking again. We were getting along great even made plans to finally meet in person. He was texting me day and night then last night it all changed. we were texting and i said something along the lines of "your stubborn!" and he said "you don t even know"..so i said "i bet i can top ya"..he says " that's what....never mind ha ha" so i texted "..." and he said "wheres you sense of humor??" i said "nooo comment lol im kidding".he responded with "good grief"...i said "why good grief?" he said "nooothing".....so this morning he usually texts good morning but he didnt so i said "hey i think things got misconstrued last night and have a good day" he says "haha aye you too" and nothing since then...what happened?? cut my loses and move on??
