Who was Krishna? I read many books about Yoga, but I don't understand him inside this knowledge.?

I understood the paper of Buda, Lao Tse, Jesus, Moises, but I just can't understand the life of Krishna. Why is he so important? I read an entire book about yoga and it made me very inspired. Was Krishna a real men?
