Dr. Yang insulting Dr. Finn about being a vet - Grey's Anatomy?

While I'm completely obsessed with Grey's Anatomy, and this is a very old topic on the show, are there any people out there who get very aggrivated with Cristina's contempt towards Finn for being a veterinarian? Why do some people have this negative attitude towards vets? It is in itself a medical specialty, and you're working on more than one animal. While Cristina can be funny, she can also be ... frickin annoying as hell. Veterinary medicine is noble and extremely gruelling. Her attitude sucks.
